Privacy Policy — Loviqo Customer Hub
Last updated: 4 October 2026
Loviqo Customer Hub is a Shopify application provided by Luís Miguel da Costa Ferreira, a sole trader registered in Portugal operating under the commercial name BRANTSI (“Loviqo”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains how Loviqo processes information when a merchant installs or uses the app and when the merchant enables Loviqo features for its customers.

1. Our role
For customer data that a merchant makes available through Shopify, the merchant determines the purposes of its commerce operations and Loviqo processes that data to provide the merchant-requested app functionality. For information relating directly to our own account administration, security, billing, legal compliance and service operations, we may act for our own legitimate business purposes.
2. Data we process
Loviqo is designed to minimize personal data. The app primarily uses Shopify customer identifiers and commerce-linked identifiers rather than direct identifying fields such as customer name, email address, phone number or postal address.
- Shop and merchant installation/session information.
- Merchant contact email from Shopify or provided directly in Loviqo, plus the merchant's optional product-update marketing preference.
- Optional merchant-provided product goals, acquisition source, store category, order-volume range, referral or partner code, feature interests and product feedback.
- Shopify customer IDs and customer-account authentication context.
- Order, line-item, product, fulfillment, refund and return identifiers and lifecycle state.
- Wishlist, Rewards, gifting, contribution, Product Vault, Smart Reorder, Support and customer-account records created through Loviqo features.
- Customer metafields used by enabled Loviqo account features.
- Store Credit account and transaction information where the merchant enables features that require it.
- Operational and audit information required to run, secure and troubleshoot the service.
3. Why we process the data
We process customer data only to provide merchant-enabled service functionality: customer service and support, store and order operations, customer-account functionality, and customer-specific experiences such as Wishlists, Rewards, gifting, returns and post-purchase services. We do not use protected customer data for advertising and we do not sell customer data.
4. Data minimization and access
Loviqo requests only Shopify access scopes needed by implemented features. Customer-facing endpoints bind actions to an authenticated Shopify customer or a deliberately created signed/opaque sharing context. Access to merchant administration is authenticated through Shopify.
5. Service providers and subprocessors
Loviqo relies on Shopify for the commerce platform and authentication, and uses managed cloud infrastructure for application hosting and database services. These providers process data only as needed to provide their services and under their applicable contractual and security terms. Infrastructure is configured to use appropriate encrypted connections and region controls where available.
6. Security
Loviqo uses HTTPS/TLS for application traffic, managed encrypted cloud infrastructure, tenant-scoped access controls, hashed public-share and claim tokens, authenticated Shopify webhooks, and least-data processing patterns. Production customer data is not intentionally copied into development environments.
7. Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as it is needed for the feature, transaction, support, security or compliance purpose for which it was collected. Specific operational periods are published in the Data Retention Policy. Shopify customer-redaction and shop-redaction requests trigger deletion or anonymization of applicable Loviqo records.
8. Privacy requests
Loviqo implements Shopify’s mandatory privacy webhooks for customer data access requests, customer redaction and shop redaction. Merchants can use the authenticated Loviqo Privacy area to prepare customer data exports and track privacy-request handling.
9. Communications, consent and automated decisions
We may use the merchant contact email for important service, account and support communications relating to Loviqo. Product updates, tips and early-access communications are optional and are sent only when the merchant has opted in through Loviqo. A merchant can separately request notifications about a specific Loviqo feature. The merchant can change the general marketing preference in Setup.
Loviqo does not use protected customer data for behavioral advertising or sell that data. The current service does not make automated decisions using personal data that produce legal or similarly significant effects on customers. Where a future feature requires customer consent, the feature must respect the applicable Shopify/customer consent state before that processing is introduced.
10. Product improvement and feedback
Optional onboarding answers, feature-interest signals and feedback may be used to understand product adoption, improve Loviqo, prioritize features, measure acquisition channels and reduce merchant churn. These signals are not used to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
11. Merchant transparency and processing terms
Merchants should also review the Data Processing Terms, which describe the processing relationship between Loviqo and merchants.
12. Contact
Privacy and data-protection questions may be sent using the developer contact details displayed in the Loviqo Shopify App Store listing or the Shopify installation/Partner-managed app details. The public listing contact will be maintained as the authoritative contact for this service.
